Bobby Wahl, Biomechanics Instructor

Bobby has played baseball since age 5 and has loved it ever since. Bobby was drafted by the Indians out of high school but decided to take his talents to Ole Miss from 2011 - 2013 where he was a Cape All-Star, 2 time All American, made Team USA, and was a team captain for 2 years. In 2013, he was drafted by the Oakland A’s and made his big league debut in 2017. He has since been with the Mets, Brewers, and Dodgers. During his career, Bobby has thrown up to 101 and has prior experience with pitchers at BYoung.

“I’ve been blessed to have reached my dream in playing in the major leagues and meeting a ton of great people along the way. I’m happy to be at BYoung now and to help out in any way possible. It’s always been a goal of mine to get into coaching and helping the next wave of talent reach their potential and see guys make it to the highest possible level. The sky is the limit for this team at BY and I couldn’t be more excited for the future!
I specialize in the mental game of baseball, pitch design and helping to perfect the throw. Having the Trackman here at BY is the best tool there is to maximize performance and to learn how to attack hitters in the way that pertains to you as an individual! There isn’t a “cookie cutter” way to attack guys, so to learn your arsenal is the most important thing to do.”
