About Me
Andrew is a lifelong runner and long time climber who is passionate about and dedicated to helping everyone return to the activities they love. He blends movement analysis, education, and hands-on skills with focused and progressive strengthening to help his patients come back stronger and more prepared than they were before.
Andrew is a Florida boy who came to North Carolina to go to school at Elon University where he completed both his BS in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. While at Elon he also competed at the D1 level in both Cross Country and Track where he was a 4x All-Conference Cross Country athlete and held multiple school records across disciplines.
He has over a decade of experience training and competing at a high level on the track, in the grass, and on the roads and managed to pick up just about every running related injury while doing it. He knows how frustrating it can be to have a season or training block disrupted and strives to help people safely manage everything from minor aches and pains to more serious, season defining injuries.
Andrew was also a member of the climbing Special Interest Group during PT school, where he wrote and presented a research article on the importance of shoulder and wrist strengthening for climbers. He has worked with a number of climbers in the past managing a variety of injuries and is capable of assessing and treating the less common hand and wrist injuries that this population frequently experiences.
