Poor posture and repetitive stress such as throwing can produce dysfunction in the shoulder. When these high-stress motions are done over and over, it can lead to a wide range of shoulder injuries. These injuries are most often found in baseball pitchers, but can also be found in athletes who participate in sports such as softball, volleyball, javelin throwing, and tennis.  Postural changes, most noted by people who have desk jobs, can also lead to shoulder pain and dysfunction and can easily be corrected with the right treatment.
