About Me
Hannah Welch is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Board-Certified Pediatric Specialist.
Hannah graduated from UNC with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science, and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University, where she was recognized for academic excellence and served as a Graduate Assistant in the Human Movement Laboratory conducting biomechanical research.
With nearly six years of pediatric experience, Hannah has treated a wide range of conditions including torticollis, plagiocephaly, gross motor delays, orthopedic conditions, prematurity, post-surgical care, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, genetic disorders, and more. She has also pursued advanced continuing education in evidence-based care for infants with torticollis and children with orthopedic concerns such as torsional issues and pes planus.
Hannah’s passion for working with children began early when her younger brother was born with cerebral palsy. Through supporting him and serving as a camp counselor for children with special needs, she gained invaluable experience in helping children overcome physical challenges.
She is committed to seeing who each child is beyond their diagnosis—meeting them where they are, building trust, and using play-based strategies to create a positive foundation for growth. Hannah partners closely with families, providing tools and education to empower parents and caregivers to support progress at home.
As a mom of three, Hannah brings the perspective of a parent to her practice, combining professional expertise with understanding and compassion.
